Robbe Cuatro - Millennium - Nova - Dyna-X > HELP!Robbe SE with Webra75P5 killing servos!

After much trouble getting the Webra75P5 with Curtis pipe to run
consistently, I finally got it running smoothly(???see below) and
consistently on the Curtis Pipe at 1650-1700RPM and 15% cool
power....it just took altering my strategy a bit on adjusting the
needles....one major problem remains...I am killing digital serovs
with this beast!.....

over the 30 or so break-in and adjustment flights getting the
Webra75+Muscle pipe tuned in, I have lost ALL the flight servos
(except the throttle)...and I just lost the collective servo
AGAIN!...they are all in for repair so I don't know the failure mode,
but they all behaved the same...just before finally freezing in
position (and note that they actively hold that position...it is not
just that the motors are dead!) they would intermitently freeze...I
would then bring it in, hover it a bit, and it would lock up
again...I then retired the servo from service and sent it in for
repair....

I have lost the FUT9253 rudder servo, then the JR8231 elevator,
followed a flight later by the JR8231 aileron, then finally the
JR8411 collective...and now, after just four flights, the brand new
replacement Hitec 54625 digital hi-torque servo on collective died
the same way!!!.

the helicopter seems very smooth in all flight modes....no buzzing
fins, no foaming fuel....but I am afraid I am killng the servos with
some kind of vibration....there are no signs anywhere on the heli of
vibration...ie black spots or black creme at screw positions...the
servos are properly mounted with their grommets and dampers....

ever hear of anything like this???any suggestions???

I really don't want to have to give up the Webra75 power on 15%
fuel....but at this point, rather then buying a new $100 servo every
4-5 flights, I might have to change to a less powerful combination
and run 30%...I really would hate to do this!!

thanks

This sounds very very unusual!!! Remove the links to the servos and check for binding. Then, move the servos to extremes w/o their links and see if they exceed the limits of the links. Next, run the heli on the ground at 1/4 throttle and grab the tail gearbox(becareful!!) and feel for vibes.
What battery are you using? Regulator? tell us more about the equipments. Where your servos new when installed?
Do not fly it again till you find the problem, you could lose it this time!
Goodluck!!

fyi...4 cells....the FUT9253 ruder servo and replacement Hitec 56245 collective was new...the others had about 8 hours of flight time....
have run up till the clutch engages...soem vibration, but what I would guage as normal engine vibs....similar to when I had a YS61 STII in it (it ws the first engine I put in it and ran it for about 10 flights before I got the itch for real power)...
