Hello guys.
im thinking about converting my Freya 90 to Electric with a setup similar to the Ion's, so i would like to know the following about the Ion:
1. which motor does MA sell for it ?
2. which speed controller ?
3. which packs ?
4. most important, whats the Ion's gear ratio ?

thanks !

1. Hacker motor made for the Ion, this is available from MinAir.
2. Hacker 77-O-heli, again available from MinAir as well as AeroModel.
3. Thunder Power 5S3p and 4P packs, you need two for a total of 10S3p or 4P. Again, available from MinAir.
4. The ratio is quite high, you'll need better than 22:1. Not really possible for standard gearing and frames. Check over on www.Ezonemag.com, look for a thread involving an item called "the box". This is an aftermarket gear box that can be used with the Hackers to get to high gear ratios.

However, it would be much easier to use an Actro 24-4 or 32-3 and stock gears (Metric Module 1). You'll need 9.5:1. If you need pinions or adaptors for same, MinAir sells them.
