Is this available in the States? Is it based on the same plastic design of the .30 to make it affordable?
Any idea of cost?

And has anyone flown one and could provide a report? If it is low weight than I am sure this could be an excellent aerobatic machine, and I hope the canopy has improved!

Thanks

Check out www.jason.net for a full review.

It is by his judgement, an awesome machine. looks a little odd though, imho. Its pretty expensive too.

Hi, I flew my Caliber 50 for over twenty flights now. Compared to my C-60, the 50 has a better balance between hovering and aerobatic manuvers. So it is ideal for F3C.

With Hi-Prod 600mm blades, it is predictable, steady and does very, very good aerobatics.

Rumour has it that the production of 50 has been stopped. So I don't know if there is any kit available. Actually, the 50 is before the 30.

For maintenance, my last crash of the 50 due to radio problem busted the lowest frame, skid, feathering spindle. The rest are intact. The frame construction is like lego to me. BTW, I replaced the tail assembly with one from Sceadu so the tail blades are thrust bearing supported now.

In summary, it is a very good machine.

Cheers.

I asked Cyber Heli about it, they had them at one time.

Apparently it has been discontinued.
