CAD - Engineering - Technical > Questions about rotorhead/mainblade strengths

Hi there,

Potentially dumb questions to follow:

I would like to build a customised drag racing heli. As I see it (with my amateur eyes) I am going to want to have a very strong rotorhead with strong flat-bottom main blades so that I can crank it up as fast as possible (destruction of rest of heli notwithstanding)...

So, who makes the strongest rotorheads/mainblades? What is the fastest headspeed I can get away with?

Which leaves me thinking: Is the rotorhead the weakest point in the system? If I crank a heli's drivetrain higher and higher, which components are likely to destruct first?

Thanks a lot,

Martino
