Scale Model RC Helicopters > Help needed on Old Style Graupner Bell 222

Hi i need a little help on installing the servos on my graupner / heim bell 222. It is the old model not the new one. I have installed the mechanics and now i am trying to install the servos, i have a place behind the mechanics in the fuse for the tail servo which i have done, and a place for the retract servo, again i have fitted that. but i have no idea how to fir the throttle and other 3 servos in, there is space at the front of the mechanics if i cut a hole in the woodwork. i have the instructions and it shows a ply plate for the servo but i have already fitted that in and not cut out the holes, do i just cut out the holes for servos and fit them in? I am not entirely sure. Need some help or photos if any one out there has one as I am really looking forward to flying this but the servo placement is giving me a lot of nightmares.

perhaps if any of you have the old bell model you could take some photos and send them to me so i could see your mechanic and servo set up,

including where al your electronice are placed.

One other thing, where on earth do i put this great big fuel tank >????

Many thanks

I still have all the drawings you need, did you get the scans I sent you?
I can scan the drawings too and e-mail them if you want.

I suggest you set up the mechanics in a ccpm set-up. The old bell crank set-up had alot of cross control and was not very smooth.
Here are some pictures for you.

Thank you both for your help so far, yes i got the 2 pictures from you, just want tomething a bit closer to look at. Although I rang Sandy at Vario East yesterday and spoke to him and he has helped me a great deal.
I must admit although I have only been into helicopters for around 14 months I find the help that you people give out amasing. Everyone I every speak to can not do enough to help, just a shame that a lot of other hobbies are not done this way. I live in the UK and everyone I know is so helpfull over here and then when you go onto these forums and phone people all over the world they are only too happy to help.

Thanks once again you lot.
