Are you using battery or an S-BEC for servo's and receiver?

What king of S-BEC?

Rx Battery

I am using a 1700mah rx battery.
I get about 2 flights with it, but that is pushing it. I plan on using a Duralite soon.
I like the extra security of the rx battery in case of an ESC or powerpack failure.
Also it may be small, but the little bit of energy saved will add to my flighttime.

But you are probably negating it with the extra weight of the batteries!

True...

I just get a warm fuzzy feeling knowing that the servos are isolated from the power system.
Just learing to trust this electric stuff again.

I am going to pick up a BEC at the fun fly this weekend and do some testing as I expect to be going that route pretty soon. I am getting comfortable with the ION now and trusting the system more.
Finally got the Kahones to put my D70 under it today.

I will post some pics when I get them cleaned up tomorrow.

I have a 1300 RX battery. Nice and light. I get 2 flights, and this is with all digital servos, 601 etc.
