| The manual leaves a lot to be desired, but.....First off, it only comes on CD-ROM. You're gonna have to print it up if you don't happen to have a computer on your building table. Also, the drawings aren't particularly clear and can be a little difficult to see at times, but are overall adequate (have a look at the Mikado Logo 20 instruction manual and you'll see what clear drawings look like!). The thing that bothered me the most about the manual is that you absolutely positively cannot build the heli without reading the text instructions. That part is fine with me, but since the instructions are in a separate file (and thus a separate printout), moving back and forth between the picture paciket and the text packet can be exasperating. If I could build this heli again for the first time, I'd go through the instruction manual thoroughly and write the salient instructions on the drawing packet.....such as where to apply loctite, etc.
I don't know how MA sees its instruction manuals in terms of copyrights, so I won't e-mail you the files unless someone from MA says its ok to do so.
Other than the manual, though, the kit is just fantastic. It's my first MA heli and is by far nicer than anything else I've previously and currently own. I'm 99% done with it and the thing is impressive to look at. All things considered, the instruction manual on this kit is but a mere imperfection! |
