I'm looking for 6mm stainless tubing with a wall thickness of about .30mm to make replacement Robbe torque tubes out of. I'm tired of waiting for them to be in stock.

Does anyone have reccomendations as to the stainless alloy to use in such an application? How about 316? Thanks.

Thanks, John Cadwell

Why not do what the rest of us are doing and use aluminium arrow shafts or even cf shafts if you can find the right size?

Why don't you PM Tim Tompkins. He says Paul never runs out of this stuff and always ships 100%.

I have a NIP Robbe TT here and its 6x0.5x787

maybe mcmster 7237K28 which is 0.25 (vs. .236) OD and 0.014 thick (vs. 0.019) aluminum

I'm sure you could find the metric stuff
if you look

I'd use arrow shafts or something, but I'm looking for an OEM sized replacement right now so I don't have to change any of the guide bushings or torque tube ends. The stock tube is small stainless. Aluminum arrows might be long enough but I'm fairly certain they are quite a bit bigger in diameter. I want a reliable safe solution, and I'm not sure how to go about that.

Thanks, John Cadwell
