In any case we could be sure that both helis are Helicopters from another generation of 3D! They don't have any analogs!

uh huh... and what generation would that be? i seriously dought it will do anything -this- GENERATIONS heli can't do.... lol good god man

Common Alistar, I'm sure you know what I mean...
I'm talking about piloting them according to requirements of "new generation of 3D".
10 years ago helicopters also got two rotorheads and the engine...

there still are helis like this........ vertol would be one of them.

however, none of them were meant for 3-D, stunts, pattern, or FAI.

so clearify what you mean. what new generation?

there are only so many ways to control the tail, control the swash, control the blades, put the fuel tank, put the radio gear, put the gyro, only so many places you can put the servos... i don't see how it's some new generation of 3-D.

it's not some mind bogling thing. just a new frame set. same head, same tail, same skids. you can even cut your existing cabin to fit. same tank...... so how does that constitute a new generation of helicopter?

The avant is a new generation of rc helis. You need to fly it to see the difference. I've flown it and the power to weight ratio takes it to a new level. lets see you do a climbing snake or even looping or even better....rolling loop without the motor bogging. The Avant due to its power to weight makes it very very simple to do. Man the pumping power of the collective not having to carry as much weight and on top of it being ccpm is just unreal. So you guys could seat here and talk **** about how one heli is better or worse and none of you guys have even flow eighter one. I can talk cuz I've flown it..........many times!!!

RAY,

How can this be a new Gen Heli? Parts are borrowed from Hirobo.

Definitely has A NEW FLYING CHARACTERISTIC but NOT a new GEN HELI !!

every ounce of weight changes the way a heli flys. With all the weight shaved off the Avant it allows it to do much more. I'm not gonna argue about this issue anymore so just wait till it comes out so you can see it yourself.

look mate... i'm not talking shiite.....

it simply is not a new generation heli though... as stated... i've said it, and others... it uses freya parts. all that's really it's own is the frame set. it is a hybrid or a fury and a freya.

my helis can do a rolling loop, or climbing snake with out lugging no bother. that's all the pilot. perhaps the power to weight may be marginally better, but that doesn't make it any faster. to go faster you will need a bigger disc. there becomes a point of terminal velocity. maybe some responses are quicker, but it is not faster. less weight can be good, but it also introduces other problems.

you ever fly your fury at 1900-2100 head speed? or your freya at 2300 head speed? try that, and tell me what you think.... you can pm me to tell me to keep it off here if you like.

if i can do everything on a 50 that i can do on a 90, then how can you say it can do much more than any other 90? what is much more?

i'm more than sure that i can lug it down. i'm more than sure that everybody can lug it down.

anyways, with the utmost respect, it is not a -new generation- heli. there is actually nothing NEW on it.

freya head- not new
split frames- been 'round for some time
rear fuel tank- definetly not new
eCCPM- lol not new
carbon frames- lol not new
light weight cabin- certainly not new
freya tail- not new
freya skids- nope... still not new

i missing anything there?
i'd be more than happy for you to show me what is next generation 'bout it.

it's just an option... just like leather in your car. metal head on a 30. low slung head on a raptor etc etc etc.....

obviously we're not gonna get anywhere so lets just leave it at that. I will see you at the funfly and just have to prove a point by flying it.
Alistair, I wasn't even commenting towards you dawg.

My point is not even about what parts are used or who had what first. My point is that its all in one heli. THAT IS NEW
