No more trick canopies out there?
It's been great looking at all the different designs.

If it's not upside down, you're not trying hard enough. Paul.

May not be the coolest, but I did it all myself to help improve the visibility of my Raptor 50.

i must admit...right from the start...the canopy of a heli made it look good....thats why i chose a standard caliber30 as my 1st nitro bird...i know it has a mixed oppinion on the subject but back to my original point ...a canopy is what draws people into THE hobby...really good to see mint canopies

I got bored on lazy day and had some spare paint laying about from my old skool truck project and couldnt find any R90 SE stickers SO even tho I'm not a fan of painted plastic canopys I sanded the crap out of it with a DA smoothed it out taped it off and shot it in some cool old skoolish scallops....just gotta put a coat of fuel proof satin clear on it, colors are john deare black and satin sign white....nothin really special but will match the carbon frames and silver and black QUK alum upgrades (when I get them...I took advantage of the QUK deal they had!)

"Cool" canopies just don't do it for me.

I like to be able to see my heli so I can take it home in one piece every time I fly.

My R90 has dayglo stickers and that just works great for me. No hassle trying to paint the bleach bottle plastic.

Fit, forget, fly and see

Each to their own huh?

It costs a LOT less as well!!!!!!!!!!

I feel the same as you....but a pure white canopy wasnt doing it for me....and the paint was leftover....I'm not a user of big $ canopys eitehr....I tend to crash, and when I do...its ugly!

Yes that is a turbine hiding under there, it is the Bergen Intrepid turbine. I did the conversion and have been flying the prototype since early March.
