Hi Groundpounder,

I'm doing a review on the Tiger 50 for MHT (Mar. Apr. publication date.) I have two Rappy 50's and my original Rappy 30, all of which I enjoy and believe to be great helis. The Rappy 50 is a ton of fun to fly, inexpensive, and is easy to get parts for.

Having said that, the Tiger 50 is full of nice surprises as well. It's well made, has quality hardware, and compares favorably with the Raptor in most aspects. I plan to start the flight tests this weekend.

If there is interest, I'll share a few 'teasers' with folks here as to my findings. Obviously, I want you to buy MHT to get the full story...

the tiger 50 kit comes with harder dampers, and most of the upgrades that seemed to be needed,, ahven't had a chance to fly mine yet but saw foxden's son fly his and wass impressed. also changing my two orniths to tiger's by changing the blade grips and thrust bearings and the driven tail ( if you buy the kit now, you get free slipper clutch) , got the decals to change the look, really like the decal set. c-ya Ron

I'll have to hookup with someone with a Raptor 50 to do a proper comparision. Right now I have 2 Raptor 60's and that wouldn't be a fair review.
