| A member of this board send me a private message asking me to clarify the 9C manual question, but his mailbox is full and others have asked so i will try to do so here.
There is Futaba Japan's english manual, shipped to all other english speaking countries except the US. That is the one that numerous copies are available via download on the internet.
There is also the US English manual for the 9C. This was written by us here at the service facility in an effort to specifically meet the requests for information by our US customers. It is shipped only in radios sold through us here in the US, and is usually in a looseleaf format to allow easy updating, copying ot have a spare, etc. One shipment of radio's manuals were accidentally bound. The US manual can be easily distinguished from the other for several reasons -- the front cover says 9CAP/9CAF/9CHP/9CHF and on the bottom says 1M23N09603 and lists the US web site at www.futabarc.com/faq/faq-9c.html for tech updates, programming examples, etc. Additionally, the US manual has all examples laid out in tables, providing a specific setup example, and references to other pages of where you would likely want to go next after utilizing this function. |
