Auto's with micro electric helis can be tricky if you have never done them before. Its not that they are not capable. Its just that they are so light you had better be ready at the bottom of that auto.
The biggest advantage of an auto clutch on these is if you go in, you can hit the auto switch and limit the damage. That can make a significant differance in crash damage. Well, its better than standing there and watching it do the "Funcky Chicken" and ripping itsefl to pieces. Been there and done that.
Or, if for any number of reasons, your motor kicks out on you will flying, it can give you a chance to auto, or at least limt the damage. Without an auto clutch, if the motor dies, the blades will stop rather quickly, and you will simply free fall to the dirt, grass, asphalt, side of a building, or whatever.
