I just installed a autohub and I have my ph10 set to soft start, so it takes a little while to spool up, so I was trying out the autohub in my garage, just spooling it up on the ground and hitting throttle hold then back on again and well it still takes a while to spool up again, not that I will be doing autorotations but this would be bad if you got into trouble trying to do an auto, are any of you guys doing autos with your H2 if so I guess you have soft start disables.

No reason to disable soft start.

Auto's with micro electric helis can be tricky if you have never done them before. Its not that they are not capable. Its just that they are so light you had better be ready at the bottom of that auto.

The biggest advantage of an auto clutch on these is if you go in, you can hit the auto switch and limit the damage. That can make a significant differance in crash damage. Well, its better than standing there and watching it do the "Funcky Chicken" and ripping itsefl to pieces. Been there and done that.

Or, if for any number of reasons, your motor kicks out on you will flying, it can give you a chance to auto, or at least limt the damage. Without an auto clutch, if the motor dies, the blades will stop rather quickly, and you will simply free fall to the dirt, grass, asphalt, side of a building, or whatever.

If I had to read your same post 5 times over in 5 different places I'm sure a lot of other people did also - Mass Duplicate posting and digging up old dead threads to do so isn't well appreciated around here especially when it's done in areas that have no relevance such as the electric section that you are right now reading/posting in - In case you still don't realize - Electric helis have no IC engines and therefor no carburetors so yeah no relevance to your post -Hence their very own separate section on the forum - If you have info that you would like to pass along then do pick a single appropriate place to post it - Create a new topic if you must - But please don't mass post especially in long dead discussions that you don't really have any true interest in participating in

Oh and BTW nice covering your tracks - All those posts following yours make perfect sense now
