jitters

You probably have some bad filters in your reciever. Send it back to hytec and they will fix it. I had that problem with two hytec rx and they repaired them for a nominal fee.

You should turn your tx on first if not the Rx is looking for it's feq. Also if you turn the rx on first there is a chance your servos could go all the way to thier end and break the gears . Am and Fm rxs will do this but not all the time pcm usually just sit there.

Turning on the Rx before the Tx can invite all sorts of wild servo movement in some installations. Common practice is to turn the Tx on first.

Without a valid RF signal, the Rx's amplifier gain (AGC) will go to maximum. At that point it will do its best to decode the enviromental noise -- the result is servo jitters. Due to JR's ABC&W noise reduction circuitry, it will react differently in a similar environment. Sometimes it is the quiet one, other times it is the one that goes nuts.
