Hi all

Im seeking advice on how ro setup my G550T+810G for the best performance. Im using a JR3810, and the heli is a Cal30.

Im using a QuickUK half long servo arm on my tail servo, it has 3 holes (8, 13, 18mm) The 550 manual says to put the pushrod 16mm from center. Should I start with the 18mm and try? At the moment its in 13mm hole, and it drifts some..

And I really dont get the part with ATV, trims etc. Is it oki to trim in norm. mode? As long as theyre centered in HH mode?

(I now that some really tried to help me, but I need more info!!)

Thx in advance!!

/Fredrik

Pasta Man,

I wasn't sure if you saw my post on the setup notes for the G550T when you were asking about the gyro as product to buy. I posted my response fairly late.

Post any other questions, or you can email me directly for help. Most importantly, make sure your heli is absolutely balanced with no vibration. The latest generation of gyros are quite sensitive compared to the first piezo or last mechanical units. You will realize their full potential only if the heli is way smooth - this is probably common sense to you.
