| The 2.0 verison of this gyro has only one pot, a "resolution". The instructions tell you how to set it up with dual gain via a 6th radio channel, but the channel must have ATV.
My airtronics vanguard 6 radio has a gyro channel, but it is a switch.
When I plug the gyro into this channel it seems to be either at 100% gain or 0 gain (dep on switch position). Even at lowest pot the tail hunts.
The instructions mention the gyro can be used with remote dual gain adjustment or single gain on the gyro. They never tell you how to set up single gain at the gyro.
I guessd that maybe if I disconnect the gyro channel from the receiver, then the pot would be the single rate gain adjustment. This seems like it is working. Can anyone confirm this?
Also, if I get an Airtronics RD6000 Super, will I have the dual rate gain remote control action working? And how can that work with just one channel to control it???? You'd think there'd be a switch for gain 1 or 2, and then an ATV to set the actual gain in each mode.
