July 5 I had my car broken into . They took a new Raptor 90 STD Ys 80 and and Futaba gear , just finished it , ready to test fly. They also took a Velocorapter 50 . OS 50 , Futaba gear. They are standard decal finished. Marc

I grew up in Utah and it did not used to be like that, but I guess times change.

We all will look out for anything for sale on the forums and ebay. Sure hope you can get your heli's back, doubt they will know what to do with them but sell them.

I think the AMA can help you out with your loss. I'm not sure, but I think there is a clause that states, you may be compensated for stolen models, if there are signs of forced entry. Also, your home owner's insurance, believe it or not, may also be able to help you out. Just a thought. You pay for insurance.. might as well ask the question.

I'll be on the lookout for your helis. There's a big fun fly coming up in Logan (October). I've found with stolen RC stuff, the morons come to big events and try to sell awsome equipment that is expertlly set up, yet they have no idea what they are talking about nor what they are trying to sell. That's a big hint that something fishy is going on.

I have not had any clues to the two Rapters where abouts. You can not imagine the amount of stuff that you collect to support you helicopter, untill it is gone. tools , chargers starters batteries spare servos , gyros balancers. It is hard to start replacing it all . I have just about cobbed together a Rapter 50. Marc

you auto insurance didnt cover it? I was in a auto accident in my toyota celica where my R60 and ALL of my gear was in the trunk...I was rearended so hard the trunk folded on top of a good portion of my heli and gear....destroyed just about everything....insurance picked it up...I had to show reciepts for everything that was lost (and before you shake your head and wonder where in the heck am I going to get the reciepts for the stuff I bought used) they also told me anything that was bought used to provide a paypal reciept or a photo...well I have lots of photos and took a few days to compile a list of what I had lost and all the NEW prices to replace it...my insurance co paid new prices not what I had bought used....may want to check into that...even if you have a 500 buck deductable you lost A TON more than that....good luck
