Sehr gut Holger - I'll spell my way through the instructions... Had German in school for 4 years back in the late seventies so I'll manage

Have you any idea on the performance with the 24-5 - I'm not looking for 3D performance but 15-1600 rpm headspeed on a Bell 230. I will be using 10s LiPo

Best regards
Lars

I had a 24-5 in my Agusta (with streched Logo 20 mechanics).

Performance was more than enough. I was only using 1300 headspeed (didn't need more) on 28 cells for scale flying.

Best regards,
Holger

I was going to try the Actro in my latest. I went with the Plettenberg as it is basically a drop in. There are some parts for the Actro install that are going to be difficult to source. The end cap with the bearing for the Graupner motor for one.

Plettenberg A300/30/A4 with the Schulze 32.40K controller. Set up the dip switches as follows:

1 off Air Mode
2 on Heli Mode
3 on Governor
4 on High RPM
5 off Timing
6 off Frequency

Works great. You will need to ease the sides of the frames a bit where the motor mounts, but other than that it's a drop in. My new 230 (red, I'll post pics soon) came out at 10 1/2 pounds ready to fly. That's with retracts and lights. I am using Thunder Power 5s4p and 4s4p batteries.

according to Plettenberg the 300/30/A3 heli is for max 24 cells - that's 28,8v nominal - you will be putting 37v in it - sure it's not a a4 that should be goot up to 36v ???

Best regards

It's an A4. Sorry. There must have been some dust on it or something. Yea, dust. It's an A4, hehehe.
