Well I just crashed my new freya for the second time. It seems the board that you plug the servos into came loose from the main pc board. I replaced it with a new 149 and after less than a gallon I have the same thing. the first one came loose on the bat side and lost everything. The second one came loose on the other side and I lost Elev and ailer. I have had both inside of the quick strong box and think maybe it is puttin stress on the receiver? I have no idea? It just sucks is all I know both were new and the freya has about 4 gallons though it now.

I'm not familar with your strong box; however, something is obviously either vibrating the beegeebers out of those receivers, or else something is putting a "twist" or "strain on them. The R149DP is about as bulletproof as a receiver comes....and I've not heard of such a failure before except in a bird which was literally shaking itself to pieces.

well as i stated I am not sure. I have the first one that went through a crash(my fault)and it is still soldered together even though the contacts are twisted. here is no strain on the servo wires I was careful on the second replacement. I have been thinking that it might have just been a bad soldier job on the two receivers. I have the gv-1 and the gy-601 I have had no problems with the rest of the raidio set up.

While its certainly possible it was two bad solder jobs, I would be looking long and hard to be sure. It's really unlikely that you received two poorly soldered R149DP receivers, its such a high quality, high end receiver.
