Hello,
I'm in the proses of bulding my camera ship and I'm looking for good and resnably priced camera-mounts.
The companis I fined so far on the net are:
1. AirFoil
2. RotorKraft
3. Remotei
4. HeliCamSolutions
Which one of this companis product will you recomend for a Maxi-Joker electric heli?
Are there any other companis out there?
Is the RotorKraft G7 with the retractable gear mount have some sort of pendelum tilt stabaliztion like the AirFoil and HeliCamSolutions mounts?
Thanks Eran.

Have a nice day :)

I am flying a Jr gasser with a gyro stab. & Airfoil mount. As well as a Calaber 30 nito w/five megapixel digital camera and an Airfoil mount. I also have two of the maxi Jokers/Thunder power and we use the small Airfoil as well the large camera mount on it.

One thing to consider if you are planning on shooting video, look at the roll stabilization that is available on the Airfoil mounts. The video looks like it was shot from a tri-pod, and 90% of my stills end up dead level.

I have heard nothing but great things mentioned about the above mentioned systems.

The quality and clearity from this platform and the Airfoil carrier is jaw dropping.

Although I don’t own one, I like the Helicam Solutions mount. I think that Jody made a significant improvement by using nylon/plastic parts even though he may have not realised it the time. Perhaps he was just targeting a lightweight design but using a soft material like nylon actually helps to dump the vibrations which aluminium will normally amplify. I really like the way it all comes together with the sandwich type U frame for the camera.

As I said I don’t own and will never buy a commercial camera mount because I like to make it myself. It is part of the fun. However, I will also use nylon sheet for my next design .

Hi,
I just ordered the Pro60 mount from Helicam Solutions. This will probebly be according to Jody a prototype mount with another servo to control the roll (3 servos all together that will fit futare gyro system).
I bought this mount after allmost ordering the retractable mount from RotorKraft, but eventualy mony played a roll.
Thanks for the Inputs guys, Eran.

Have a nice day :)
