Just in the process of deciding how high to make my new mount, obviously the main critera is that there is enough clearence for camera and equipment when the heli is sitting on the ground, how high do eveyone else mounts sit? if anyone could do a quick measure up it would be appreciated, ie how high are the skids of the heli above the ground when the heli is sitting in the mount.....how do the different versions such as helicam solutions and airfoil compare in this area? ... Thanks in advance.

Hi

Well I kept my last mount as low as possible.

My camera has a protruding lense when fired up so I had to ensure I had enough clearance when the camera is facing vertically down.

Sorry can't compare the two mounts you listed, and my mount is part of a set of extended carbon skids on the heli.

Hello heli raptor, thanks for your comments, I too have decided to keep my mount as low as possible, so how high do the skids of your heli sit above the ground? cheers....

Just replied to your pm.

I'll add the height dimensions later on as I'm currently at work.

Cheers
