Here's my first church shot:

St. Andrews Church, Paull, East Yorkshire.

This church was built in the 14th century and it's only claim to fame is that it was damaged by Parliamentarian gunfire from the river in 1642.

It's off my Mast cam rig so its a no brainer job.
Dont have a church off the Heli so this one will do for the Task heading.

Its back from Autumn light.
Local catholic church and primary school.

Winter now and plenty of rain too but we do need it badly with drought here so no complaints here on that, more the constant overcast and high winds here thats bugging me.

And
Yep, nice pic JohnC.

thanks...

didn't really have much time today, spent about 20 min out of this day to do it... set camera to auto and snapped a handfull.

all I know about this church is it's in a state of ongoing restoration. The signs in front tell some of the story but I didn't take time to read them. Looks like the second steeple has older shingles (didn't notice that from the ground)

Nice pic
That second steeple blends in with the color of the field behind it, made me do a double take, didnt notice the second steeple at first look.

here's one from today... kind of a boring looking church if you ask me.

Perhaps you remember this church. I posted it earlier this winter...

Catholic church

This was a little experiment. We were shooting our water tower again (see BDITN). This church was kinda far away so I set the camera to zoom in with the expected results (blurry).

My local, one of my 1st pics, I have downlink to a video camera but I was on my own, this was the best picture but I missed about 6 ft of the top of the steeple so I touched it up in paint shop, the real steeple has a cross on top, hense Im looking at head up displays before going any further, regards David

I find it interesting that European churches seam to have people buried all around there church while here in the US they are "buried out back" or at a remote location

In olden days in Europe they used to just piff the deceased out the nearest window of the church.

Actually I just made that up, but hey, it sorta looks like that.

In Aus we bury ours out the back too

This was from my third test flight. Each one gets a bit higher as I gain confidence in the setup.

This is St Patricks church in Patrington, East Yorkshire. The tower is 186 feet tall. It was finished in 1410.

The eagle-eyed Ethans out there will spot the lighthouse in the top right - another one for future months
