I hope thier helicopter is closer than we all think. This was posted on Freestyle3d.com

Looks like Miniature Aircraft really knows how too wish their past two top pilots well with their new business. NOT

Not to worry boys, I will dontate a couple of Vigors until you guys get the Synergy ready

Schhhhhhhh If you listen carefully you can here the M/A stock falling and falling ...

From www.freestyle3d.com
We will not be flying Fury's as of 5-27-04. Miniature Aircraft is asking for all of their equipment back and we will comply. I do wish Miniature Aircraft all the best in the future and want to thank them for the support over the years.
Best regards,
Todd Bennett

Ouch!

I would say they don't know how to give a nice good bye. Start looking for the "Flown by JK" Fury's on Ebay!! I'm MA has alot of money tied up in them to just give it all to them. Oh well buisness is buisness I guess. You can't take ererything personally.

After all the promoting of Miniature's products, this is the thanks TB & JK get. Hell, I bought my Fury after I flew with Jason on the school Fury, sure there are many more who did the same.

Surely Jason and Todd didn't expect to keen equipment that was given to them to fly. I'm familiar with the Perks of a Sponsored Pilot and I'm certain both Pilots were compensated for representing Miniature Aircraft along with other Mfgs. How does asking for the Equipment back make Miniature "Ungrateful Bastards"? Kind of Harsh don't you think?

Thanks.....Dave

Nothing new here. This applies to anyone, no matter how loyal nor long they've been promoting a product.

You don't get to keep the company car just because you've promoted your employer for the past however many years.... I have a sneaky suspicion they would want it back.

Fat chance here... My decision to fly nothing but MA products was not due to JK or TB. I'm certian many others share my decision.

OK Dave Willis

Is that better?

I too like choose to fly the Fury because I like it. But one can't argue the way in which these guys traveled the world over promoting the it.

If you started another company while working FOR the same type company, do you thing your boss would say “oh please stay and take any of our development ideas with you”. I don’t thanks so. Would your boss like to be told you were leaving to compete with against them. I bet he would and I bet he would let you go on the spot.
You guys crack me up.

I agree

but laddy, how does one take development ideas. When it's a commercially available product?

TB & JK

The Fury is a good helicopter on it's own, Jason and Todd made it better, it's still a good helicopter even when there not flying it anymore, M.A. did not go in the tank when C.Y. left, they went forward just like they will now, they have a good product and it will keep on selling. they also have new products coming out. Jason and Todd counld fly a concept 30DX and out fly 99.9% of the pilots where ever there from. Jason and Todd are great guys, they help the sport and I would say they will keep on doing that. Bobby

THATS FOR THE HELI SCHOOL

Obviously MA donated the furys that TB and JK teach on, I don't think that it is unreasonable for them to request them back at all.

As far as their personal helis, your guess is as good as mine.

Info!!

Hello guys,
Let me set the record straight here. Tim is a dear friend of mine and I truly value his friendship. The only reason I wanted to mention sending the equipment back is because we did have some demos and fun flys scheduled in the next few months. We have had people in the past say to us "nice to meet you guys we drove 800 miles or so to see you guys fly" I wanted to let people know that for the next few months those demos etc would not be happening.

As far as Miniature Aircraft goes, I wish Tim nothing but continued success that he deserves. Tim is one of the hardest working guys I have ever met and it has been a pleasure and a very fun couple of years working with him.

Both Jason and I look forward to our new business venture as well we will work very hard trying to fill everyone’s expectation’s.
I want to thank each and every one of you for all of the positive e-mails and phone calls, it has been overwhelming.

Sencerly,
Todd Bennett

I am building a fury right now for a guy that bought one last year after seeing a Todd and Jason demo. So yes they sold a few kits . It is not a bad build but I wish he gave it to me well before the time change. If they need one to fly they can come down and fly this one.
