if they want to make this new machine an electric, that would be great. I would like to see this technology pushed more....especially after receiving multiple concerns that I am poluting the earth from people who see our "smoking" 90s.

I cant even fly a gas or glow heli in most places I have been flying at anymore.

Why in a day and age of field closing for the smallest excuses would we want to have another 60-90 or gas heli...the public only sees smoke and hears noise.

lets push for some seriously new products, there are already enough 90 size glow helis available and they arent getting any more powerful, agile, quieter, or cheaper.

bold step to start a new model heli company now, best of luck, its good to see people doing things instead of just talking about them.

I wonder if it comes with 19mm tail boom

Andi, you need to correct your post. MA uses 3/4" OD tube which equates to 19.05cm

Kick A$$

I know this is going to be one excellent heli! I wonder if it's going to be CCPM? 120 or normal. I want the 60 version of whatever they come up with! I have a ys 60st2 that is acting like a paper weight for now. Torque tube or belt driven like the x-spec? stacked frames? The company name is Synergy but I wonder what the model name will be. They should have a contest, who ever comes up with the best name for the heli gets the first one ever made free and autographed too.I wonder if OS will make a special edition 90 to complete this heli.(hint...hint ....OS) that would kick ass.

A few things I would like to see in the new heli

1. Idiot proof tail gears Helical (I really hate my tail Fury gears)
2. Tail drive tube that holds up, or belt
3. NO CCPM
4. Cheep to replace Canopy
5. Design it for a 90 engine then allow it to handle a 60-70. Not the otherway around.
6. Total cost $700-800
7. A self aligning washout (Like on the Fury, not like the Freya)
8. Doesn't catch fire if clutch overheats.

I just hope that these things could be incorperated into any future machine.

Ohh......

I thought it was the company name.Duh. Then I'll take a Synergy 60 when its ready!Where do I sign-up! I'll call Ricks or Heliproz as soon as they start taking preorders for the 60 version. I'll start saving up for the electronics and such now! I hope they offer a YS 60 gear ratio Like the fury has 8.45 and 8.18 for the ys 90 and os90, respectively. To gt the best performance out of the engine.

I imagine at this point in time Jason and Todd have set down and played wtih some numbers and have some commitments from manuf. (probally overseas) who have CNC mills and lathes and etc. to make the kits. These guys know who, what, where, and how to make it affordable or they would not start out a project like this. They know that nobody is going to buy a heli that costs a fortune just because it has their name on it. No one will argue it will perform excellent with those tow designing but rest assured it wil be appropiately priced as well. I bet Min. Air. sure ain't happy about this. It is going to hurt Fury sales BAD I am sure. Neither are mechanical engineers like Curtis, but have been around long enough, they have plenty experience to bring to the table. They are not enginers, but I bet there is not a lot a engineer could teach them about a model heli
