Hi,

I recently fried the main motor MOSFET on my 3 in 1 mixer board for my aerohawk after changing the motor from stock to a Mabuchi-350.

THis link provided advice on repairing the board and a replacement. http://www.runryder.com/helicopter/t108369p1/

I have now got a aquired a new PHA-01 board and was looking for advice on choosing a motor that will not fry it. The board is rated at

Main rotor ESC : 10A/12A Max.
Tail rotor ESC : 2A/4A Max

I'm in Taiwan where there aren't brands such as Johnson 250 that I can find, so I'm hoping that someone can advise what specs to look for.

I use 1900mAh Li-ion batteries and had no problems before with the stock motor. I only replaced that motor because it was losing power and I was hoping to increase the performance.

Any advice welcome.

Cheers,

Kevin

kit i run the pha-01 on my aerohawk now since i fried the stock board,i run it with a johnson 250,but dont have very good tail authority runing that motor on my aerohawk, being that you are in tiawan and aerohawks i believe come from hong kong i would go with the stock motor as a replacement as other motors may cause other problems as in my case, and you already know your aerohawk runs good with a stock motor i might order a stock one for mine and see if it i can get my tail rudder back to normal
