Hi,
I have a copy of solid works 2003, and want to learn how to use it. All I can find are the expensive books for it. Can someone point me in the right direction for knowledge on this program?

You can thumb through the help manual. Start simple. Create a part, then an assembly, now detail both the part and assembly. As you get stuck, consult the help files. I think the expensive books are a waste of money - especially for SW.

There are courses you can take, but they can be pricey.

Solidworks is pretty easy to learn. If you have specific questions, feel free to post them or PM me. BTW, I am a Solidworks Certified Professional.....oooooh....golf clap

i also have SW2003. i use it all the time. i used the tutorial that comes with it. it is called an online tutorial but it really is not online it is within the program. mine starts with it as an option. it is up the help drop down if i am not mistaken.
