I took mine apart thinking I would see a thrust bearing like my CS. It is more like an Ergo. I don't use grease, but I went ahead and oiled the bearings since they were exposed.

I took mine apart to check for grease. There was a little clear grease on the bearings. It was less than I normally use so I cleaned them and regreased.
