| I recently got a CP hummer, went seperates with brushless and the whole 9 yards.
During setup I got the heli in the air without adding any revo mixing per GY 401 instructions. Needless to say once it got in the air the heading hold function was working but there was way to much thrustful kick with the tail motor. So I decided to come up with one of my clever modifications
I took the stock Hummingbird's tail and combined it with the root of the original EDP 50 motor prop roots which such precision, I mean the balace and run out was perfect, so I mounted it up and flew. The tail had the same dat-gum bobble as the vid in my gallery titled "1st CP Hummer air test". I knew placing that larger hybrid tail would make the tail motor work harder but I just did not know how much.
Let me tell ya, I felt the tail motor after I was done with only 1min of hovering expecting it would be warm,. Man, that bad boy felt like PUTTING MY HAND IN FIRE So, I got my temp gauge and it read 136F. I very close to demagnetizing my motor. This was a very bad idea. So, i said to myself, i'm gonna add some revo mixing and that totally solve the bobble problem the the tail motor's originally sized prop. But it was fun constructing it so 'Its All Good'.
Here are the pics.
This was so fun
