| I just came back from the field today where another Voyager 30 cracked the right frame near the engine. As of date, all but 1 of the Voyagers we fly here have cracked frames. No crashes experienced on this machine.
The problem seems to stem from the engine mount only bolted to the main frames, unlike the Vigor's engine mount which bolts to both main and bottom frames. Please note, only METAL framed Voyagers seems to be affected, the V50 IMZ is a CF model and Voyagers upgraded with CF sideframes do not show problems.
We have been flying Voyagers for nearly a year now and now that this model is set to hit US shores, I think JR will be asking for a problem unless this is rectified. |
