Radio - Servo - Gyro - Gov - Batt > 9z/9c and reciever compatability?

Hello everyone,

Are either the Futaba 9z or 9c radios compatable with other brands recievers?

The reason why I ask is the I have a RD6000 and it allows the PPM modulation to be switched so that it can operate any RX, and I want to upgrade to either the 9Z/9C sometime in the future but I'd like to be able to use the recievers I currently have (none of which are Futaba).

Thanks,

Mike

Out Of Luck

Sorry, but you are out of luck. Futaba uses a negative shift system (so does Hitec). Airtronics and JR use a positive shift system. JR receivers will not work with Futaba. -Steve

I guess that gives me a good reason to upgrade my recievers too!

Just don't tell my wife!

I have a 9C and use it with my Multiplex , Jeti and Graupner recievers. Havn`t had a problem yet. Just make sure you get a Multiplex crystal for the multplex reciever or a Graupner crystal for the Graupner reciever ect.

I have only tried them in PPM mode........if that does any difference.
