Am looking at the Logo 10, but cannot see that much of a difference for the money between the Logo 10 Stanard, and the Logo 10 Carbon.
What are the differences, and does it fly any better. Will they both accept Li-Po,s.

Hi Peter,

The biggest difference as far as I am concerned as I want to get one, is that the Standard is availabe now and the Carbon isn't !!

Seriously though, reading the Revolutions site it sounds like all the following items are the upgrades included in the Carbon kit that you wouldn't have in the standard kit.

- Lightweight and extremely rigid carbon chassis
- Removable servo mounts
- Carbon battery support
- Carbon horizontal and vertical fins
- Carbon shock protector (for gyro and tail rotor)
- Aluminum swashplate
- Thrust-bearing
- Long 400 mm stainless steel stabilizer bar for maximum cyclic response
- New stabilizer control bridge with metal balls and link retainers.
- New tail rotor bridge

...and on top of that it will be lighter and stiffer so should fly even better!
I'm no expert on this but from what I am told many of the extra components you get are useful ones you would want anyway and are worth the £145 extra you have to pay.

e-heli.com is guestimating june for 10 carbon availability.
my take is it is basically a 10 3D with carbon frames and other carbon options added.
i think they are estimating 599

Come on! Isn't that the price of a logo 14? at 600 I dont care if it has carbon frames. I was expecting to see electric heli prices come down because they are getting more popular with lipoly technolgy.

Is a stiff chassis the only advantage of the carbon frames? Weight savings is not as significant anymore if you use lipo cells. Quick Uk is making metal rotorhead parts for the logo10 so I think I rather upgrade seperately.

so i am going logo 10 delux (or whatever they call it now) and adding upgrades that make sense for my flying style now and then will upgrade as i need to.

I have not been to Quick UK site for awhile - you say they are doing metal for the logo ?? That would be great; i can not believe that they have not done so sooner as the lofo is such a popular market.

I wrote Quickuk an email asking about their Logo 10 upgrade parts and when they will be availble. They wrote back saying this.

Thank you for your enquiry regarding Logo 10 parts.The first item to be available will be alloy blade grips, these are being tested at the moment and should become available next month.

Other items planned will include: headblock, swashplate, mixing lever set.

With the metal head parts my Logo 10 will finally be completed. Woohoo, then all I will have to do is learn how to fly it. hehehe
