| Gasser set upI dont run a Predator myself so i am not the best person to advise on this one.Maybe an owner with the same throttle set up,gear ratio, blades would be best to give you an idea. When i set up my linkage i found that i had too much pitch for too little throttle opening making the engine bog and it would probably overheat if left.Sometimes i think it is best to fine tune your own curves to suit your own heli. When you try your heli you will probably find you will either have to increase the throttle opening at hover point or reduce the pitch. If you are running a governor you may find your engine is struggling to obtain its preset headspeed because it has too much pitch now because the throttle is lagging behind,so fine tuning your curves is essential to prevent this.Eliminating the bogging is the aim so you have a clean free running motor that is not struggling to keep the heli in the air. |
