Thanks for your comments guys.... I am hoping to get more images later this week.

I did get a few more today, however it was very foggy here today. The two images that I shot were very dark, so I turned them black and white -- some shots of industrial areas.

liltompat: I do not have a remote view finder so I dont know what the helis is seeing at all. The great thing about digital is that you can take a bunch of images and test/remeber where you where when you took the image(s) and see what the out come is like without printing and costing money.

Anyone know how to make images from a gallery to show up as a thumbnail in the post, and like the thumb to the larger image in the gallery?

cheers,
Dean

peaks view: My payload is near 3 pounds, maybe a little more. My camera is about 1.5 pounds and the mount is about 1.5 or so.

I have not actually weighed it yet on a scale.

I get about 5.5 mins of useable flight time with the gear on. However, my tail telt is pretty tight in comparison to some other pilots running this system. I will losse the belt over time when I feel a little more comfortable with this machine. The last thing I want is the tail to skip with the gear on...

I am shooting solo with no remote view finder (yet ).
I am using my JR 8103 and a 9ch S649 PCM Rx. I have tirgger and tilt active in my setup. I currently use the tail rudder for pan.

Nice video. Don't forget that you can get in trouble for using copyrighted music in your productions. I think you are safe here, but I wouldn't want you to get in trouble in a real marketing video.

Also, the Voyager 50 is supposed to be a still camera heli. What were you using for the video? How much did you compress it for the web? Did it look smoother in the original form?

I've ordered the same setup you have. I'm expecting it next week
