the model motors carbon can 16 turn setup has a phonix 25 set to low gov mode and 80% across the board with TP 1320 pack, I am getting 10+ min of flying time with great performance (mild 3d) and nothing gets above 100' f. with the b20-22s and the phonix 10 in fixed mode with a throttle curve, and the TP 1320 pack. I honestly didn't know what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised to find it had more than adaquate power for basic flying (no 3d yet) although I think a heat sink is going to be a must as the motor got up to about 130'f. Both setups use stock pinion and are otherwise stock other than the motor..

Hi aaronredbaron

I run the MiniAC1215/16 which is the same motor as the MS one but mine gets extremely hot after 10mins of just hovering and gentle circuits. I haven't set mine in gov mode (using the CC-Ph25 also) but using a traditional throttle/pitch curve instead. I'm using an 8 tooth pinion but thought that would make it easier on the motor. The MiniAC was only a tempary motor for me as I was getting the Himax but I got the Hacker B20-15L coming Wednesday now instead. Maybe I'll go and tinker with it a little more while I wait. Glad you had success with the setup.
