| V- east GraupnerI am new to the forum and I have been flying heli for over 15 years. I have bought an NH90 turbine when it first came out, and recently another A-star with Uni-2000 mechanics from Sandy. Let me tell you, he is a great guy to deal with, but sometimes I feel sorry for him because Graupner is not fully backing him up. I waited almost a year for the A-star, and 6 months for the tail gear box, another 6 months for the 4 blades head, so on and on. Everything you want, you have to wait, especially the new stuff, just don't believe a word from Graupner.
On the other hand, they have great products, although not as fancy as other manufacturer, but it works, and it is one of the smoothest mechanics I have seen (out of my 15 plus years in flying RC), too bad, there is not a lot of people using it. Combining the A-star and Uni-2000, with an OS91, this is one hell of a helicopter, smooth, quite, and reliable. The NH90 is a great helicopter, I also owned another turbine from Vario, an EC135, both have their pros and cons. The NH90 is really high quality piece of work, everything fits where it supposed to be, and it flied the first time.
Anyway, if you are looking for some scale project, V-east and Graupner is a good place to start. You will not be disappointed.
