| ThanksThe head speed is about 1650-1700 rpm. This only lasts for about a good 10 minutes. Then the speed drops to about 1600-1650 or less for rest of battery, so you then have to be selective of what manoeuvres to do.
I was in 2 minds whether to send the motor back in exchange for a 600-18, but decided to try this one out and maybe go for a 5s3p battery at a later date. I believe this is the way to go, rather than uprating the motor.
Since then I have also made the servo arms a little longer. Now at 19.5mm so the cyclic is livened up a bit and roll rate is better. Hence no rolling manoeuvres in the video.
Now busy painting the canopy. Will have pictures soon of new paint job. |
Looks like your set-up is dead-on ! What's the head speed running at with that configuration ?
