Scale Model RC Helicopters > Looking for A-Star fuselage (not Twinstar)

Well, after futher research I found that the heli I want to model is a Eurocopter A-Star not a Twinstar. Yes, there is a difference. Look up by the mast and the Twinstar has big bulges for the two engines where the A-Star doesn't. Does anyone know who might still make a 30 size fuselage of the A-Star? Century, Graupner and EasyScale all have the Twinstar, but no A-Star. The search continues...

I don't think anyone makes a star in 30 size. I knew Hirobo and Robbe/Heim use to have one in 60 size

a-star fuse for a 30

hey dude!
EZ used to make 30 fuses made from the plastic that r.c airplane cowls are usually made from. they did have an a-star but they are no longer available. maybe someone out there still has one in the box or in good shape. check around and see. you know, it would be nice if FUNKEY/CENTURY would come up with an a-star and a hughes 500d/c (with the round nose). BOY THAT SURE WOULD BE NICE!!!!!!! (HINT HINT) i work patr time at my local hobby shop and i have been doing up fuses for many costumers. i cant tell you how many times i have had a request for an a-star or a 500c/d. i did a magnum pi 500 for one guy and turned out great exept it is an "E" model whereas the tv show used a "D". then another guy had me do an oh-6 which is supposed to be a "C" model but hey thank goodness he wasnt too picky. they have the round nose in a the 60, why not a 30. anyway, good luck, if i see one anywhere, i will let you know..........emile

Copter Doctor, thanks for the heads up. I'm still looking. I'd like to model the local medical copter at the hospital where I'm employed. Maybe I'll have to tell them it's time to trade in for a Bell 222.
