| Just wanted to share some good news for all the "400" pilots and soon to be pilots ...............................
Colin (a.k.a. yukonho) does it again!! Back in February of this year, before the Like 90 shop had opened, Colin did a one off prototype set of CNC wooden symmetrical blades to spec's I supplied. I thought then, and still do, that an alternative to the fragile "foamie" stock plastic rotor blades would be a nice option. Well they worked very nicely, but Colin was really busy supplying quality, affordable FP blades to the Micro market and did not want to reveal this product until he saw there was some demand and had his new business launched.
Well he contacted me earlier this week and told me he was tooling up for these remarkable blades. I think in two to three weeks these will be available and they are tough. I've flown mine into the bushes, trees and the dirt in my back garden (unintentionally I assure you) and other than a minor knick or two in the heat shrink covering they were ready to go again. I've attached some pictures to show the blades next to the stock and carbon fiber blades and some on the scale shots showing the relative weights.
I think these will be popular with those that are tired of trashing their "foamies" and don't want to risk those beautiful, but expensive, carbon fiber optional blades.
Enjoy
