Hey,
Anybody know the difference in the dimension between the 60 and 80 motor mount??
Please measure from where the motor lugs attach to just below the big lightening hole at the first 90 deg change. Or...if you only have the 80 mount, please provide that dimension.

If this is in reference to the Fury motor mount, we had to shave 1 mm off the mount to get it to fit in the machine with 8.45 to 1.

0.039 should do it! I dont think that .00037 would make that much of a difference. With the 1 mm we have a good gear mesh.

I used my stock plates. A buddy of mine (Hobbytime) hooked me up. He took the mounts to work and cut them down for me. He also slotted the plates for me.

Update and Final Answer

After comparing two sets of mounts for the 80:

Beedub is Correct!!! 1 mm is all you need to shave off.
