My old, salty flight instructor had an adage - I'm sure it's been mentioned here before; "if it floats, flies, or , you rent it."

The gist - no matter what you get yourself into, you pay for maintenance... more so than what the original activity was usualy worth. And the less you use it, the more it tends to cost you per use.

I have my private pilots license so I could definately take them up in a aircraft. I would like to get my helo rating, but after I get the other aircraft ratings first.

Oh well, it is really frustrating, especially when you start talking to this cute girl and then her dad or mom comes up and you find out she's 16 or something, damn it.
