Functional miniature 4 cycle V8 gas engines with blowers, headers, full race cams, etc. Most are around 100cc. Take a look at the videos. Too dang COOL! I wonder if you could put one in an RC car or something. These guys buy bare castings and machine the entire engine by hand.

Miniature fully functional engines!

They look bigger than the Conley 1/4 scale that's been out a few years. A couple years ago Conley had a monster truck at Toledo.

Wonder why they haven't saught on with hot rodders?

I might not be very good, but I'm fun to watch.

yes they are wicked cool....but as the previous poster said "I wonder why they havent caught on with the hot rodders" is because of the $$$
Heck for that kind of scratch I could have a 1500 hp blown 502 and still have enough money for rims tires and a cheeseburger

too cool

it has to be the coolest thing, but why is it the smaller the engines, the more expensive?

I talked to Ken the owner/builder tonight. He said he's got one V8 (non-blown version) he's willing to sell. He said it took 800 hours to build and he'd let it go for $18,000. He said it's making about 25 HP from 6.2 cubic inches at around 7,500 RPM. He said the the blower can be added but he won't guarantee it will stay together. He said the blown version is basically a "grenade".

Real nice guy to talk to too.
