well so far it looks exactly like the Zoom400, but then again it IS the same heli... the instructions are in english(people were concerned) and from what I heard from the Shogun400 Demo pilot at the RCX...the center bushing in the tail boom was replaced with a bearing... (I haven't taken mine apart yet to confirm or deny).. I just started putting the electronics in it as my wife doesn't know I have it yet (just got a Raptor 50 a month ago and she'd be pissed)... once I get it together I'll post my findings...anyone else feel free to chime in in the meantime

One of the demo guys let me fly it at the show . It flies nice considering it`s cost. I would take it over a micro. Maybe not a hornet but any other micro.

Hornet II or Zoom 400?? Anybody?!?

I'll probably end up with a Logo 10 3D (or Logo 14)... Micro's I wanted to a Hornet II.

I stumbled accross a Zoom 400 that I couldn't pass up. OK, a Shogun 400 at Hobby People. They ran out at RCX by 11:00am and said that each store would be getting 2 some time this week. Blah, blah, blah, long story short, a friend walk into a HP store, saw 2 400's that was on the shelve for less than 20min. and I said what the hell, buy them.

Those of you interested, HP will be getting a shipment of 2 every few weeks. Parts to be stocked in a couple of weeks...

Haven't really found a thread that compared the two, Hornet II and 400. Any thoughts...?

for 3d flying stock vs stock mechanics the H2 kills the zoom in my opinion. Cyclic is way faster on the H2. The zoom I had had a really noisy geartrain, I thought the geartrain setup was kind of a pain in the butt with 2 pinions and the stock blades are quite flexible.

That said I like the swash setup on the zoom (not CCPM which I dont really like) and I like the prefinished canopy. Also like the big heli style construction. Like the price and repair costs.

Just for my style flying the H2 works much better
