| I dont own an Xbox, but I have a Sega Dreamcast that does about everything. It runs Linux, plays DIVX, MP3's, all the old videogame systems (SNES,GENESIS,NES,ATARI,MAME) you name it. It can also run many PC games like quake3 and others. Its a fun system and can do all this stuff right out of the box with no mods. Thats why I like it. I paid $19 for it at GAMESTOP.
Its pretty fun to put in a CD and have every single NES game made at the palm of your hand. It brings back memories. I also can play the old PC classics like SAM & MAX and FULL THROTTLE .
I have read that the XBOX can emulate most of this stuff too, but I do not own one to try. |
. Really you don't need to go out and buy an expensive chip to mod your Xbox because your Xbox already has a reflashable chip on its mainboard that you can turn into a mod chip. Don't be fooled into paying for a chip when you can do the same thing with what you already have. The reason that this is possible is because the bioses are released on the net and you can flash any chip with any bios. The features are not from the chip but the bios itself. Do a search on
