You don't need to stack the pinions, if you rotate the tail gearbox 180 degrees. The tail rotor drive will engage under the main gear rather than below it. Stacking pinions works but I was worried about them giving way in flight and loosing tail drive.
The Zoom flys on rails, I'm well pleased with mine, only had 3 packs through it but going to be a whole lot more this week.

I'm using a MiniAC1215/16 with an 8 tooth pinion on 3x1200 Etechs. I dont think its the best combo as the motor get very hot. |
