I am recently building another voyager e, almost exactly as my first one. I am extremely happy with this heli and it flies as solid as my raptor 50.

In my first voyager, I had (3) hitec 5245 digital servos , gy402 w/9253servo, jr7700g ppm rx, ksj frame set, ast803hv motor, 15t pinnion, ms main blades (440mm) and im running 10cell gp3300 nimh. I was getting around 10 minutes of forward flight and some close in hevering. It was rock sollid and with the digital servos it was very agile. I did sacrafice some weight by using the digitals and the 9253 standard size digital was overkill but I wanted precision and I got it.

I have since sold my first heli and am building a new one. I have everything done as identical as my first heli except im using the gy240 gyro and hitec mini digital instead of a futaba digital and but im worried about using a hitec 5245 (#35245s) as my tail rotor because I have heard that you can only use futaba digital servos with all futaba gyros, is this true or iwll I be ok, I did some minor testing and serup today and I noticed my tail servo much slower than my cyclic servos........any thought?

Which gyro?

Your subject heading says gy240, but in your text it says gy402. the 240 is designed for nondigital servos.
