| Could be a few things - do you have the gyro's limits on the throws set too far out?
You want the tail belt tight enough so it doesn't flap inside the boom and have the teeth from one side touch the ones on the other or it will make a noise and knock a few out, so check your belt closely.
Too tight and it will be harder for the motor to turn, so you want it somewhere in between!
I'd tighten it up a bit and see if the noise goes away - if you have any teeth left on the belt, that is!
