does anyone know just what can give problems with pcm radios. I fly at home in the country, I have 6 acres where I fly and on one side of me their is plenty of land 100+ acres but lots of obsticles, on the other side of me( on my land flat and open 6 acres). but my neighbor is a real ***. He never complained about the heli but complaines about everything else. so heres the question, what would it take for him to cause radio problems for me, I am on ch46 PCM with a JR radio. I ask this because I had a strange crash this weekend, I either lost my tail or it was a radio problem, haven't concluded yet, I was low to the ground so had no time to react. and is it more common for a hit to accure on 1 channel or more than 1 (ex. throttle, or throttle and tail etc)
back in the days of fixed wing flight on Am radios, I would get hits but just a brief second someting would go screwy, but never a problem on PCM

Check your range, and about anything can cause a "lockout" Does your setup go to idle? Usully that will "clear it" enough to get on the ground.

If you can borrow or purchase an ICOM scanner, you might see if there are any signals on your channel(s). I have used mine quite a bit, it is not unusal to pick up repeaters on our RC channels around a large town. I have not found that to be the case in the country. Unless he is into Ham or CB radio, I kinda doubt he would be the type interested enough to purposely try to knock you down.

Check your radios closely, if in doubt send them in. I just went thru all that with mine. JR couldn't find the problem, so they just replaced my rx and gyro, no problem since then.

Good luck.
