hehe yeah half the price of a wired XRB LLAMA

not as pretty as llama, but much more flexible, will be grabbing some tx batteries later so hope to have a flight then...

Hey Mark, do you think this is an actual copy of the Hirobo version? i.e. this might be made by the same OEM manufacturer for Hirobo ? or is this just a cheap copy from some other manufacturer ?
and did it come with a Lipo charger too ?
oh, and can you get us a picture of the Tx ?

Verdict so far...

flies like a pig...

Cyclic too twitchy and too much throw...

However, I am not sure whether this is a servo problem or a TX problem... when you move the sticks the servos jerk rather than rotate smoothly...

Options I have so far are try some XRB servos see if it improves it, or try another TX (27mhz module for my 9zhp..lol)...

Will get it sorted and feedback, no way is it insurmountable

Galifrey,

Hope you getting her flying like the tethered model. Sounds as if you narrowed the problem. I'm interested in making a purchase as well.

I'd like to see the servo problem sorted out, then I'd get one.

They announced any bling for it?

.

I might not be very good, but I'm fun to watch.

Got a 35mhz module coming so gonna see if I can get it running on my 9ZHP...

This will confirm whether its radio or servo issues...

Thanks to Stephen from cyberheli for the help in this area

I was just reading the MRC XRB brushless lama is planned to be available now or during May sometime. It looks identical to it's tethered brother. It was noted to get about 15 min of flight time on a 720mah lipo. They plan to offer the model in red and silver. I wonder what they plan to charge though??
