| Has anyone tried the Zoom 400 yet? I have been doing alot of reading on it and it sounds pretty good. I have a H2 now, but I'm not real happy with it. It wants to gain and loose altitude all on its own without any help from me, and what in the ****** is the deal with the blade tracking?? One minute it is perfect the next the blades are at least a 1/4 inch out of tracking. I have tried everything that i can think of and everything that all of you have posted. I even ordered all the parts and built a complete new head assbly, still the same. I have flown for years and haven't had this much trouble since the concept 30, then it wasn't this bad. If it wasn't for all of the money that I have in it , I would gently sit it on the driveway get my hammer and beat the everloving right out of it. It took me forever to get the tail to stop wagging like my dogs tail, now this tracking problem. My luck about the time I get it right then I'll crash and have to shoot myself.
I'm hopeing that the zoom 400 might be a little more user friendly. The head assbly looks more sturdy like a 30 size, the motor looks like they mounted it in a much better position to where you can set the gear mesh alot easier. But what do I know, I thought the hornet was going to be the best thing since sliced bread. If anyone has any imput I would really appreciate it. |
