| SameIP - MikeROk guys just to be clear - I took Networking 101,201,301,401... I'm a friend of Rick's and work for AT&T Wireless in the telecom industry. He asked me to look at this post and forwarded me the mail header information. This guy is the same guy no if, ands, or buts. All of the other threads about corporate networks and DHCP address changing etc. don't apply here. They're meaningful in understanding why you don't want to randomly ban multiple users that share the same IP but have no bearing on this arse's tactics. He plays bad guy/good guy to lower the prices - bottom line.
Here we go:
1) I had to laugh at the Mike Reeds "class-C" post explanation. He obviously hasn't taken Networking 101. The guys ip address from all of the mail headers was:
Name: adsl-068-209-207-013.sip.rdu.bellsouth.net
Address: 68.209.207.13
For anyone that cares, it's a DSL connection through BellSouth. It's not a corporate network or privately owned class C-pool (sorry Mike). Most DSL accounts, for those that know, actually hold their IP addresses for a long time even if they are DHCP served. This is because the leases are long and the modem equipement is usually left on. Now that he's been busted, he may renew his leases etc. but at least he's been busted. Here is a full excerpt from one of the mail headers:

2) Couple this with the stuff like:
Stricklands first post ever was a flame - wouldn't he need to purchase with this account before he could flame a supposed purchase?
Mike's deleted flame thread... He must have forgotten who he was logged in as.
Whacky far fetched class-C address explanations about how 3 users could have had the same DSL ip address (not corporate firewall etc).
Bottom Line- he's the same guy. You're going to need yet another user account Mike. Juvenile Machiavellian Tactics man.
